Playable Characters (Super ARC Bros. Brawl)

The roster of Super ARC Bros. Brawl has 67 playable characters; 43 are characters ARC has picked himself and 24 that originated from an Empty Slot vote-off! 11 of these characters has been released as Downloadable Content. 24 special-features has also been made, but they are not part of the official roster. One of these special-features used to be part of the official roster, but was later brought back with a better moveset thanks to encouragement from the fans. While another used to be non-canon but later became canon.

Button Mash	An NES falls towards the stage like a meteorite and Button Mash comes out of the smoke.
The Miz	Walks towards the stage while wearing a sweatshirt, then he tears it open and shouts: "BECAUSE I'M THE MIZ AND I'M AWESOME!"
Arthur - King of the Britons	"God" from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" appears from a beam of light and pukes out Arthur - King of the Britons onto the stage.
The Fonz	Comes out of a door and adjusts his jacket while a sitcom-style "OOOOOOHHHH" gets heard in the background.
Harry Potter	Comes flying in on his broom towards the stage, then he climbs of it and takes out his wand as the broom flies into the background.
Derpy Hooves	A giant muffin appears on the stage and Derpy Hooves breaks out from it while shouting: "Muffins for Everypony".
Eric Sykes	Drives into the stage in his car and makes a loud breaking-sound, he then climbs out of the car as it drives away.
PSY	Appears relaxing on a beach-chair, then he says: "Oppan Gangnam Style", gets up and spins a couple of times.
Kamikirimusi	Picks up her war-club and turns around while shouting: "I'll crush you!"
Vinyl Scratch	Pinkie Pie appears on the stage and picks up Vinyl Scratch out of nowhere, then Pinkie says: "Let's get the party started!"
Harmonica	Appears out a burst of magical energy and breaths heavily for a while, then she smiles and gets ready for battle.
Pen	An real-life pen gets thrown towards the stage by a random person, then upon landing it transforms into "Pen".
Dr. Facilier	A bunch of fortune-teller cards flies towards the stage in a "stream-like" fashion, then after all the cards has landed on the stage, Dr. Facilier will appears from the pile of cards while laughing.
Dr. Manhattan	Teleports into the stage like when he first showed up in his human form in the Watchmen movie, then he gently lands on the ground.
Cookie Monster	Finds a jar of cookies on the stage, walks up to it, devours all the cookies in the jar and then shouts: "COOKIES!"
Rémi Gaillard	Craws out of a computer, then he stands up and says: "Bonjour tout le monde."
Myotismon	A coffin falls from the sky, that then breaks open and Myotismon comes out of it.
Fiolina Germi	Drops down on the stage with a parachute as the Metal Slug announcer shouts: "MISSION START!", then she takes out her machine-gun after landing.
Scrooge McDuck	Ducksworth drives Scrooge's limousine towards the stage, the door on the limousine opens and Scrooge McDuck walks out of it and onto the stage.
Q	Appears from a flash of light and says: "A wise choice to choose me for this particular Brawl!"
Rorschach	Walks towards the stage, punches his fists together and grunts, then he adjusts his hat and sighs.
Shrek	Comes out of his outhouse and yawns while stretching himself, just like his introduction in the first Shrek movie.
Catbug	Stands next to Beth Tezuka and holds her hand, Beth then hugs Catbug and wishes him good luck before she teleports away from the battlefield.
Mai Minakami	First there is absolutely nothing, then as the announcer starts counting down, Mai Minakami just appears out of nowhere and nods her head.
Spider-Man	Comes down from a web that is hanging from the top of the screen, then he says: "Look out, here comes ULTIMATE Spider-Man!" and jumps down on the stage.
Cheese Sandwich	Walks in while wearing his "Clint Eastwood-costume", then he throws it of and shouts: "WOOOHOOO!"
Achmed Frollo	Gwonam flies by on his flying carpet and drops Achmed Frollo onto the stage. Then Gwonam shouts out his iconic line: "Squadala we're off" as he flies of the stage.
George of the Jungle	Swings into a tree that just happens to be on the stage, then he bounces of it and lands on the ground. He later gets up with a smile on his face.
Yuuko Aioi	Walks towards the stage while carrying her back-pack, then she throws the back-pack towards the screen and prepares herself for battle as the back-pack gets splatted on the screen and falls down as if it was Screen-KO'ed by an opponent.
Sailor Mercury	First she appears as Ami Mizuno, then she crosses her arms and transforms into Sailor Mercury.
Peashooter	Crazy Dave walks into the stage and plants a seed in a flower-pot, the seed then rapidly grows into Peashooter who breaks out of the flower-pot as Crazy Dave walks of the stage.
Jar Jar Binks	Stands on the stage and is having a conversation with George Lucas, then George notices the opponents and tells Jar Jar Binks to kick their asses. Then they shake hands and George Lucas disappears.
Emmet Brickowski	Gets beamed into the stage by Uni-Kitty, similar to Link's old Battle Entrance in Smash 64. When he lands he says: "Thanks Uni-Kitty" and Uni-Kitty can be heard saying: "You are welcome, Emmet!"
Wallow	Walks out of a portal that he created with his portal gun, then he cracks his knuckles and takes a deep breath.
Wander	Rides on Sylvia towards the stage from the background, when they have arrived, Wander jumps of and gives Sylvia a hug before she leaves the stage.
Tintin	Runs into the stage along with Snowy from the left side of the screen, in a very similar fashion to the opening of the Tintin animated series.
Rainbow Dash	Falls towards the stage and creates a miniature "Sonic Rainboom" upon landing, then she stands up, flows her hair backwards and says: "Rainbow Dash has arrived!"
Mikasa Ackerman	Shoots down her grappling-hook on the stage and comes down herself on the stage, she then detaches the grappling-hook from the ground and puts it back in its folder, she then takes out her swords and prepares for battle.
Lord Voldemort	A cloud of dark energy appears on the stage, it will grow larger and larger and then Lord Voldemort will walk out of the cloud and takes out his wand.
The Flat Man	Climbs out of a pool of water, when he is out he adjusts his cloths and waves at the camera before he glares at the opponents and prepares for battle.
Toph Beifong	Comes towards the stage by "surfing on the earth", like she does in show sometimes, then she jumps of the earth and onto the stage while creating a small magnitude upon landing.
Thirty/Thirty	Runs towards the stage from the background in his quadrupled form, upon reaching the stage he transforms into his bipedal form and takes out his blunderbuss.
Wheelchair Guy	The Character-Select screen from Happy Wheels appears on the stage and a random player clicks on Wheelchair Guy's icon, then he appears on the stage just like how he appears in Happy Wheels upon being selected.
Hawkeye	Walks towards the stage and says: "World's Greatest Marksman, at your service!"
Puss in Boots	A tree appears on the stage with Puss in Boots sitting on one of the branches and watches his opponents, then he jumps of the tree and makes the "P-symbol" on the tree, then he turns around and says: "Watch out villains, here comes Puss in Boots!" as the tree disappears.
Sash Lilac	Sash Lilac rides towards the stage on Carol Tea's motorcycle, when they have arrived, Sash Lilac jumps of and fist-pumps Carol Tea, then Carol rides away into the background.
Syndrome	Hovers down with his rocket-boots just like Zero Suit Samus and says: "Oh man, Syndrome is here! You can thank me later!"
Bruce Lee	All of his movies fly towards his grave while gleaming with light, then the movies makes him come out of his grave and restore him back to the living with the light.
Xion	First she appears out of a dark pillar just like the other members of Organization XIII, then she starts emit light and takes out her Kingdom Key.
Iroha	Sits down and bows towards the screen, the she says: "Lord, I will win and make you happy" in Japanese, before she stands up and prepares for battle.
Jason Voorhees	Walks slowly towards the stage while dragging a dead body, then he stops and pulls out his machete from the head of the dead body.
Predator	Deactivates his cloaking device and investigates the opponents with his infra-red vision, then he roars at the opponents.
Elphelt Valentine	Gets pushed out of a "container" and hangs still for a moment before she "wakes up", stands up and says: "If I win, we're having a long talk about US!"
Rexxar	The roar of a bear is heard from a distance, then Rexxar's hawk comes flying from the side of the stage as Rexxar himself walks towards the stage, then he stops and shouts: "I am Rexxar, the champion of the Horde!"
Dödis	Sits on the stage while reading a book and says: "Okej, vem är det som jag skulle döda igen? Näh, vem bryr sig!" Then he jumps into the air with his legs split and takes out his hockey-club upon landing.
Tanya	Back-flips three times into the stage, turns around during the final one and says: "Prepare yourselves!" before she stands up. Just like during her intro dialogues in Mortal Kombat X.
Master HiSing	A large Magic Paper appears on the screen, then it burns up and Master HiSing appears behind it.
Probe Ike Newton	First "his" head comes out from his “transport ship”, then "he" fills his air-bag with air and floats upwards as the “transport ship” disappears.
TyrantitarTube	A Tyrantitar walks towards the stage and roars loudly, then it Mega Evolves into TyrantitarTube. Then he says: "What's up everyone! It's TyrantitarTube!"
Freud Stream	First he appears as a white blob, then the blob slowly takes the shape of Freud Stream by growing a tail, four legs and a head. While Freud Stream is transforming, he will make a sound that sounds like a combination of human laughter and a horse’s neigh.
Asuka	A smoke cloud appears high above the ground, then a “SWISH” sound occurs and Asuka falls out of the smoke and lands on the stage. Then she takes out her swords and smiles.
Xemnas	He comes out of a dark pillar while Xigbar can be heard saying in the distance: “They are all yours, Xemnas!” Then Xemnas laughs and says: “Anger and hate are supreme!”
Medaka Kurokami	Medaka walks towards the stage and waves her fan, then she puts the fan away, smiles and prepares for the battle. (Similar to her Battle Entrance in J-Stars Victory Vs.)
Michael Bay	Optimus Prime (the incarnation from the Michael Bay movies) drives into the stage (in his vehicle form), then one of his doors open and Michael Bay walks out and waves at the screen as Optimus Prime drives away.
Brightwing	Brightwing flies quickly towards the stage. When she lands on the ground, she will spread pixie-dust around her, say: “Hello new friend(s)” and then she will start flying in one place and get ready for battle.

Trivia

• When a character has been confirmed for Super ARC Bros. Brawl #Freedom2017, then the original moveset will be removed. That is because Aranryanchampion wants the newer movesets to get more exposure without the older ones getting in the way.

ARC's Choices

• PSY is one of two characters that appear in Super ARC Bros. Brawl, that was originally intended for another lawl game. The second is Xion.
  • In PSY's case it was Super Smash Bros. Lawl ARL.
  • In Xion's case it was Super KRC Bros. Brawl.
• Harmonica was the first original character added to "Super ARC Bros. Brawl", she replaced Dawn who was originally going to be added but moved over to "Lawl with Garterbelt Brawl".
• Cookie Monster was the first character to have one of his moves from his original moveset replaced post release, in his case it was his Up B.
  • Cookie Monster is so far the only character that has been part of all three categories (Celebrity, Youtube Poop & Cult) at some point.
• Myotimon is the first character to be from a specific from of media that does not have any indication of it in his name.
• Q's Kirby hat is the first to that is not directly based on Q, but instead on Discord from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Another character that John De Lancie voices.
• Achmed Frollo was originally part of a poll for a second OC, but that title was changed when he was confirmed. Since he is not an OC as in a character that ARC himself has created.
• Rainbow Dash got into the roster, despite that she lost to the pony version of Rainbow Dash in a vote-off.
• So far there have been two characters that ARC chose that is a second rep to a franchise that was introduced into "Super ARC Bros. Brawl" through an Empty Slot-voting.
  • The first was Lord Voldemort.
  • The second was Earth's Mightiest Hawkeye.
• Xion and Iroha were added to replace Rosa Anarchy and Fiona Blazela when OC's (other then ARC's own) were removed from the roster. People took notice that there were similarities between the OC's and their replacements.
  • Xion had a special move that had a lot of coincidental similarities with one of Rosa Anarchy's special moves.
  • Iroha has very large, very exposed and bouncing boobs just like Fiona Blazela.
• ARC actually trolled the viewers by announcing that Time Reaper from "Castlevania Judgement" was the final character for "Super ARC Bros. Brawl", when the final combatant was someone that nobody saw coming (Dödis).
• Sailor Mercury is the first character to receive a brand-new picture when she received her page. Although, it was a couple of days after her page was originally created. She was soon followed by Rainbow Dash EQG who received her new picture on the same day she received her own page. On the 24th of March, Derpy Hooves and Vinyl Scratch received new pictures as well.

Empty Slot

• Sash Lilac was originally confirmed between Arthur - King of the Britons and The Fonz, but she was removed because ARC admitted that he did a poor job with her original moveset.
  • When she was removed, ARC asked his viewers to give him suggestions of another female character to join in Sash's place, that character would eventually become Fiolina Germi.
  • However, Sash Lilac was still brought back into the roster in the Fifth Empty Slot with a improved roster. Altough Fiolina Germi is still in the roster, despite the character she replaced making a return.
• L. A. Grinch is the first Empty Slot character that was added to the roster without "winning" its spot.
  • He was also the first playable character to receive a name-change.
• Edd Gould from Eddsworld was the character to receive the most votes during Empty Slot #2, but he still did not get into the roster because ARC found Eddsworld to be too "Brain-dead" for his liking. He could just barley watch one episode without crinching.
• So far there have been two unlockable characters that were revealed before the character that is required to unlock them.
  • The first was Dr. Manhattan who was revealed before Rorschach.
  • The second was Mai Minakami who was revealed before Yuuko Aioi.
• Empty Slot #4 was the first Empty Slot where ARC tried to predict the winners of the voting and he ended up guessing one character correctly: Tintin.
• Bruce Lee is the first character that comes from a specific "franchise" that appears in a different group from the other members. Bruce Lee being a cult and the other three members (The Miz, PSY and Michael Bay) being celebrities.
• Most of 80's Shredder's special moves are actually from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time", because ARC wasn't sure if watching a bunch of random episodes so he could maybe see some moveset inspiration would be worth it.
  • A similar thing happened with L. A. Grinch, but surprisingly nobody commented on that moveset when it was releasad.
• Shrek was the first Empty Slot character to receive a new picture (he received one on 16/3-2016 on the same day Puss in Boots received his own page) and the third character overall.

DLC

• It all started when ARC wanted to be friendly to a friend and show them a new character select-screen (which is an edited version of a select-screen that ARC himself would use in the future). Then ARC could not stop himself and confirmed Tanya as a future character when he started to edit her page and showed them the future "Super ARC Bros. Brawl"-select screen with Tanya featured on one of his most recent blog-posts. She was officially confirmed on 22/10-2015.
• 80's Shredder was the first of four characters to be removed as preperations for the "DLC-era". Followed Aeon Calcos, Cyber Sub-Zero and L. A. Grinch.
• After Tanya received her moveset, ARC created a poll on Strawpoll.com to determine the order of the next four characters in the so-called: "GROUP 1". The order of these characters is as of now:
  1. Master HiSing (The Cult Classic Movie character)
  2. Probe Ike Newton (The Documentary character)
  3. TyrantitarTube (The Pokémon Youtuber)
  4. Freud Stream (The "En Dag i Livet" character)
• TyrantitarTube has been transformed three times throughout the life-cycle of the game. First he was a regular Tyrantitar that was an Assist Trophy, then he was replaced by TyrantitarTube as an Assist Trophy (in the form of a Tyrantitar wearing a cloak) and finally TyrantitarTube became a playable character (in a human form).
• After Asuka received her moveset, ARC created a poll on Strawpoll.com to determine the order of the characters in GROUP 2. The order of these characters is as of now:
  1. Xemnas (Kingdom Hearts character)
  2. Medaka Kurokami (The "Final Female")
  3. Michael Bay (The Movie Director)
  4. Brightwing (The "World of Warcraft" Character)
• Medaka Kurokami was also the winner of the "Final Female-Poll" that ARC made. Although despite her title, she was confirmed before Brightwing who actually ended up being the final female character to be added to the roster of Super ARC Bros. Brawl.
• There are rumors going on that some characters might actually get removed because ARC just realized that they make some franchises receive four reps, when the maximum amount he is going for is 3.
  1. The first character this might happen to is Button Mash, since he originated from the actual MLP cartoon and not a fan-created show.
  2. The same thing might happen with The Miz or PSY unless people can convince ARC that World Wrestling Entertainment does not exactly count as "Real Life", or it could happen to either PSY, Bruce Lee or Michael Bay.
  3. Sash Lilac might also be removed, because of the controversy that happened with both of her movesets and that ARC missed some obvious details that could have been added to her moveset. Even though he listned to the criticism that he got, he have not actually played "Freedom Planet" so it was obvious that he would not know everything about the character.
• Ultima Weapon (one of the sub-bosses) was originally going to be a surprise newcomer for the DLC-era. But then Cloud Strife was confirmed for Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS, so Ultima Weapon stayed a sub-boss and the Kingdom Hearts character; Xemneas, was added in its place.
